Privacy Notice

Who we are

PassionJet (“we”), a San Marino Approved Training Organisation, is the controller of your personal data. This notice explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, our admissions process and our training portal. Our registered business details and data-protection contact are set out under “Contact” below.

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us we collect: identity and contact details (name, email, telephone, country); licensing and eligibility data (licence type and details, ratings, medical-certificate validity, English-language proficiency); your application, enquiry and message content; training records created during your course (attendance, grading, assessments, tests and checks, instructor comments); electronic-signature records for your Training Services Agreement (the name you sign under, and the date, time and reference of signature); billing and payment records (invoices and payment status; card payments are processed by our payment provider, which handles your card details directly — we do not store full card numbers); and limited technical/usage data from your visit.

Why we use it

To respond to enquiries, assess eligibility, manage admissions and enrolment, deliver and record training, meet our regulatory and record-keeping obligations, and improve our services.

Legal basis

We process personal data to take steps at your request before entering an agreement, to perform our agreement with you, to meet legal/regulatory obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running the organisation.

Sharing

We share data only as needed: with the San Marino Civil Aviation Authority and other authorities and examiners where required; with your sponsoring operator where one funds your training; with our approved training and simulator providers under agreement (including CAE Dubai); and with the service providers who operate our systems on our instructions — our website and portal hosting providers, our electronic-signature provider, our payment provider, and our email provider. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Training and certification records are retained for the periods required by the applicable rules (not less than two years after course completion, and longer where required); other data is kept only as long as necessary.

Your rights

Subject to law, you may request access to, or correction or deletion of, your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Some regulatory records must be retained regardless of a deletion request.

International transfers

PassionJet is established in San Marino, training is delivered in Dubai (UAE), and our commercial and platform arrangements are governed by DIFC law; some of our service providers are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States. Your personal data may therefore be transferred and processed in these locations. Where data is transferred across borders we apply appropriate safeguards, including provider agreements incorporating recognised standard contractual protections.

This website provides information about PassionJet’s training courses. Content is for general information and does not form a contract; specific course terms are set out in your training agreement.

Accuracy

We take care to keep information current, but prices, dates and course details are indicative and may change; a written quote is issued before enrolment.

Applications

Submitting the enquiry form does not guarantee a place. Enrolment is subject to eligibility, availability and a signed training agreement.

Intellectual property

The PassionJet name, logo and site content are our property or used under licence and may not be reproduced without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site.

Governing law

These terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and the DIFC Courts have exclusive jurisdiction. Where you contract with us for training, the governing law and dispute-resolution terms of your Training Services Agreement apply to that relationship.
